Abia State Governor Ordered To Vacate Office

The Abia state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has been ordered to vacate office by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

The Abuja Federal High Court presided over by Justice Okon Abang ordered the Abia State Governor to vacate office after finding him guilty of submitting false information leading to the election.

The court discovered that Okezie Ikpeazu submitted false information to his party during the PDP’s governorship primary election held December, 2014.

The judge also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Ikpeazu and immediately return to Ogah
