Popular Abuja based radio personality OAP Amaka ‘Fressh’ Onyeagoro emerged as Nigeria’s best Radio Personality at the prestigious Capital Territory Advancement Awards (CTAA) which held recently.
The Capital Territory Advancement Summit and Awards, a private sector initiative of Newaves Innovation is recognized as one of the most innovative programs that proffer workable solutions to National issues and celebrate credible individuals who have demonstrated patriotism through governance and social responsibility. This initiative is geared towards recognizing excellent individuals and corporate institutions that have distinguished themselves in their various contributions to the growth and development of Africa’s fastest growing capital city.
Dressed in a beautiful gown designed by Keto Couture, Amaka who is currently the Head of Programmes at Hot FM 98.3 said: “It just feels good that people take not of the noise I make in the studio whether for the purpose of trying to make our society better or criticising societal ills or just entertaining the listener. Getting recognised for the hard work I put in feels good. This award will spur me to keep working hard.”
