An abusive husband has stabbed a 23-year-old pregnant Minnesota woman identified as Lyuba Savenok in the throat with a kitchen knife leading to her death and that of the unborn child.
As stated in the charging document, the sister of the deceased pregnant housewife who witnessed the stabbing which occurred on Saturday morning at the couple’s Eden Prairie home said the 30-year-old husband, Yevgeniy (Eugene) Savenok, took their two kids after he had stabbed his wife and sped away.
The victim’s sister who following the attack called the emergency line was recorded by the police to have said she saw her sister “lying inside on the floor with a knife protruding from her body,”
The wife killer, Savenok, however turned himself in to the local authorities about an hour later at a hospital in St. Paul.
