A fraud suspect, Zachary Yahaya aka ‘His Excellency’, says Access Bank has one of the worst banking security architecture in Nigeria.

He said that the bank’s vulnerable security exposes its customers’ information to fraudsters, who are able to reset the details with relative ease.

Yahaya stated this on Monday, August 16, while being paraded by Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CP Frank Mba.

Responding to the FPRO’s question on banks in Nigeria with the worst security, Yahaya identified Access Bank as one of his ‘favorites’ because it was very easy to maneuver.

Yahaya, who operates majorly in Plateau, Kano and Abuja, disclosed that the largest he ever stole from an account was N800,000.

“I was arrested last month at Mabushi in Abuja, I use to reset any Sim that has been receiving bank alert, I will set it and remove the money that is in their bank accounts.

“I will check it through their bank messages, I will buy recharge cards load and receive their alert. I prefer First Bank and Access Bank because they are easy to reset. I have been doing it for the past two years with eleven boys working for me, we operate in Kano, Plateau and FCT Abuja. The biggest money we stole at a time was eight hundred thousand Naira. And I lost count of our victims,” Yahaya stated.
