Businessman and politician, Adamu Garba II who was vilified on social media on Thursday for threatening Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey with a lawsuit over his support for ongoing EndSARS protest has tackled popular music artiste, Davido.

Garba warned Dorsey to steer clear of Nigerian local politics.

Recall that Garba had threatened to sue the Twitter CEO for soliciting funds for the protest if more Nigerians got killed.

“I can see you are even sharing a link for people to donate money for this protest, an event capable of escalation beyond our already overstretched security management. If this protest continued to evolved into disorder (hopefully not). As a Nigerian citizen, we’ll meet in court.

“Thank you. @jack,” Garba, the CEO of IPI Group, wrote.

His comment attracted a lot of backlash on social media.

Reacting by quoting the title of his latest popular song which translates as “Shut up,” Davido wrote, “My friend Fem”.

Not willing to back down, Garba restated his position.

“I will un-FEM as long as our country is not as great as it should be, as long as the level of information deficit on statecraft among our youth is this unbearably low

“Ironically, i love the FEM album & I love what you are doing for Nigeria. Keep on soaring higher brother @davido.”
