What would you do if you found out your spouse of 25 years had another family that has been carefully hidden away from you?
For an American woman, that hypothetical situation is a present reality.
The woman took to Reddit to make the revelation recently about her husband, with whom she shares three children and believed she had a “wonderful life”.
She explained that as an insurance broker with a company that has branches across the country, her husband works week on/week off between two locations.
She revealed that she only found out about his second family when she tried to open a new Facebook account.
She said she typed in her husband’s first name and discovered his second profile with a different last name.
“He’s got a fiancé, whom he has two kids with, both in their early teens.
“My husband is currently with said family, and I know it’s him because his most recent post is a photo of him and that other family eating dinner. I am absolutely broken,” she wrote on Reddit.
