According to multiple online reports,
Former Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan (Mama Taraba) escaped assassination in Taraba bye election.

She resigned as the Minister of Women Affairs of Nigeria on july 27th. She was appointed in 2015 to the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari after his election.

Mama Taraba has recently opened up on her political ambitions as she aspires to be the first female Governor of the Federal Republic.

  • Please confirm your sources very well. Aisha did not resign her appointment as Minister, she took a leave. Secondly, there was no any assassination attempt on her, but it was an incident of vote buying from her own end that led to the destruction of her car.
