Nigerians have taken to social media to express their views on the speculated power tussle between Aisha Buhari, First Lady of Nigeria and Rabiu ‘Tunde’ Yusuf, Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Herald earlier reported Aisha Buhari called on the Mohammed Adamu, Inspector-General of Police to release her aides who were detained on Rabiu’s orders for evicting him from Aso villa over failure to comply with COVID-19 guidelines.

Here are some reactions culled from Twitter;

@MrOdanz

The only time Aisha Buhari speaks up is when her personal interest is threatened in Aso Rock

Aside that, all she does is wear Hijab up and down, commission useless projects and pose for pictures

Has she said anything about Uwa yet? Or Abba Kyari disconnected the TV in her room?

Started your thread with Awareness & safety on Covid-19 and ended it asking the IGP to release your Assigned Staff in Police custody,

Madam Aisha Buhari, you deserve to switch roles with Patience Ozokwor , You are Nigeria’s Drama queen, undefeated.

@SodiqTade

News: Gender violence related news.

Aisha Buhari: Server not found.

News: Banditry and Terrorism ravaging some parts of the Country.

Aisha : No display.

News: Police arrested Aisha Buhari staff for 2 seconds.

Aisha : Hello Nigerians….

That Aisha Buhari woman should never be taken serious. She disappears when there are pressing matters and reappears when an insect touches her skin.

“Where tf was she when we were preaching against rape? Black lives doesn’t matter to her? It’s her staff’s that she’s wailing about”

@JacksonUde

How can Buhari’s Personal Assistant, Sabiu Yusuf aka Tunde, order the arrest and detention of Usman Shugaba, ADC, to Aisha Buhari, her Escort Commander and others because he was asked to self isolate after being in contact with COVID19 patients?

@obi_nwosu

IGP who should be trying to find solutions to banditry in Northern Nigeria is been distracted by the power clash betwen Aisha and Tunde Lawal.
