Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has commended Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN)’s efforts towards promoting and developing Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in the State.
He said the agency has immensely contributed to the development of MSMEs in the State.
Ajimobi made this statement during a courtesy call by the Director General of SMEDAN, Alhaji Bature Umar Masari and top management of the agency.
He emphasised the need for cooperation amongst agencies within the entrepreneurial empowerment value chain.
He said youths need to be motivated to start up and run small businesses successfully and sustainably.
Ajimobi pledged more commitment to the One Local Government One Product (OLOP) initiative of the Agency.
Masari also commended Ajimobi for creating an enabling environment for the agency to operate in the state.
