Former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is alive, contrary to rumour presently circulating about his demise.
The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was alleged to have died in a Lagos hospital due to COVID-19 on Thursday evening.
However, it has emerged that the 70-year-old is not dead as claimed.
Gboyega Akosile, Media aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State urged the public to ignore the “fake news” of Ajimobi’s death.
