South African rapper, AKA has denied allegations that he slapped his colleague Cassper Nyovest.

Casper had made claims via Twitter that AKA walked up to him and slapped him at a club.

Cassper took to his Twitter page to write, “You can slap me all you want my brother but you can never take my joy. God bless you and I love you. @akaworldwide”

It was learnt that the two rappers who have threatened each other in the past with guns seem to be taking their beef to the streets.

On his part, wrote in a series of tweets, “I need to clear the record. These are false allegations. I DID NOT slap the shit out of someone tonight. I do NOT condone violence. This is not on. I’m a role model. A public figure. I would never do such a thing. What I would gain from this type of thing?? *sigh* …. I’m already the Supa mega. … Please don’t believe what you read. THERE WAS NO FIGHT TONIGHT. I have so much to look forward to, I don’t do stuff like that. It’s no coincidence that this saga suddenly happens and there’s an event around the corner that needs promotion.”

This is not the first time AKA will be involved in a public altercation as he has was caught on camera beating and kicking a fan on stage in front of audience at a concert.

South African based radio station, YFM, has however claimed the assault happened. They tweeted, “A representative from Cantare nightclub confirms on #RNTLive that the incident where CassperNyovest was allegedly slapped by AKA did happen.”
