Read excepts of the interview below:

Congratulations. How do you feel about today?

I’m excited and elated. I’ve been sincerely blessed. Apart from the car key, I’ve received all the prophetic blessings. And when people were asking me, I said, to me it’s something providential because I never expected it. Of course, everybody expects to be blessed, but for the car gift, it’s exceptional. It shows how generous the man of God is. Somebody said he has added another ministry. We have always known him as a giver. Perhaps this has been the best so far in terms of giving materially and spiritually. My prayer for him is that God should elaborate his life. He will be blessed materially and since he has a very strong passion for souls, God will use these blessings to attract more souls to the kingdom of God. I also pray that his anointing will never go stale, and for more signs and wonders in this ministry.

Did you envisage such a gift?

That’s why I described it as something providential. As a child of God, I expect blessings from God. Even if I had expected a car, was I expecting this particular car? I think it’s awesome and marvelous.

You are one of the veteran Nigerians want to see on screen but it’s been a while now; what’s been happening?

If you ask me, Nollywood is getting bigger, the only thing is you may complain that the stories are not the way they used to be. When people complain about Nollywood, they complain of the stories and the kind of people they see. Maybe a lot of us, when we are given scripts and we don’t like the story, we can tell them we don’t want to be part of it. And on their part, they can’t afford us so they settle for less and these things affect good production, because you may have a good story but don’t have the kind of money to pay artistes, equipment, right locations, good direction, good camera man. So if some aspects are not right, it will affect your story.
