The Special Adviser to Governor Ambode on Commerce, Mr Deji Tinubu is dead.
The immediate-past Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission slumped on Thursday during a novelty match in Epe, where state executives and permanent secretaries are holding a retreat with the governor.
He was said to have been taken to a private hospital, Charlet clinic but was later rushed to the General Hospital in Epe when his condition didn’t improve.
He was confirmed dead at the general hospital late Thursday evening.
Tinubu tweeted on Monday, “Football ???!!! Bloody hell !!!!”
He was a well-loved sport broadcaster on Cool FM before venturing into politics.
