Anthony Joshua Joins Black Lives Matter Protest On Crutches In Watford

Heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has been spotted during a Black lives matter protest while on crutches in his hometown in Watford.

He was spotted wearing a black hoodie with Black Lives Matter inscribed on the front while walking with peaceful protesters following the death of George Floyd.

The 30-year-old was one of many peaceful protesters to take to the streets on Saturday, and streamed a series of powerful speeches to his 11.3million followers on Instagram.

While Anthony Joshua was seen moving around on crutches, he also used a mobility scooter at one point to get around more quickly.

Joshua’s spokeperson confirmed to Sportsmail that his injury is not serious, saying: “Anthony felt a slight twinge in his knee whilst training. The brace Is a precautionary measure on the advise of physios. It will be further checked by his doctors but there is no immediate concern.”
