The Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, says that today’s church has abandoned prayers to pursue materialism, doctrinal arguments and motivational speaking.

Suleman charged the church to return to prayers like the early disciplines who were in the “upper room agonising” after Jesus was taken up to heaven.

The fiery preacher stated this in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Democracy Day.

Suleman said, “The early disciples were in the upper room agonising but today’s church is in the supper room organising..we have left the place of prayers and focused more on materialism, doctrinal arguments, motivational speaking etc.lets return to prayers.”
