‘Apply Common Sense’ – Ben Bruce to CBN over Naira ATM ban abroad

Senator Ben Murray Bruce (PDP, Bayelsa East) has called on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to relax some of its FX restriction policies which are devoid of common sense.

The CBN has announced a restriction on usage of Naira ATM cards abroad for foreign exchange transactions.  This policy is expected to adversely affect students, and ordinary Nigerians who are going about their studies and business abroad.

Bruce called on the CBN to instead apply the restrictions on politicians and politically exposed persons rather than cause all Nigerians to suffer.
