A video is currently going viral on social media depicting men of the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) being assaulted by a crowd of people in Lagos.
According to @postsubman on Twitter, the SARS operatives were chasing a suspected fraudster when a young boy had his legs crushed by the vehicle of the operatives.

It was further reported that the boy was rushed to a nearby hospital while Area Boys descended on the operatives, beat them to a pulp and dispossessed them of their phones.
The SARS officers were allegedly five in number. Three of them escaped while the other two bore the brunt of the people’s anger.
The officers were nearly stripped naked in the video as they were being assaulted by a crowd of individuals in the area.
