It is a season of outrage on Nigerian social media as the government continue to effect unpopular policies that seems to insult the intelligence of average Nigerians.
This time, the announcement of the reintegration of 601 “repentant’ Boko Haram fighters including several foreigners from Cameroon, Chad and Niger back into society in a lavish ceremony angered Nigerians who called for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Nigerians were also joined in the outrage by popular Islamic Cleric, Imam of Peace who asserted that the action amounted to treason against the Nigerian State.
Many Nigerians accused President Buhari of allowing non state actors like Boko Haram, Bandits, Islamic State and armed Herdsmen kill thousand of Nigerians in his five years as President Nigeria.
He was further mocked for his recent ‘peace’ trip to Mali while Nigeria is nearly torn apart.
