Playing at home, Arsenal are back to winning ways in the English Premiership. The North London side defeated Fulham by 4 goals to 1 on Tuesday, 1st of January. Arsenal knew they needed to bounce back from the 5-1 humbling by Liverpool some days back. Hence, they gave all they had against the below-par side. Before the Gunners began to score, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon missed to good chances to put his team in front. However, Granit Xhaka did not fail to convert his for Arsenal in the 25th minute, the Emirates Stadium.
After the break, Alexandre Lacazette made it 2 goals to nothing, after completing an impressive team move. However, Fulham reduced the deficit to one through Aboubakar Kamara in the 69th minute.
Aaron Ramsey then scored for the Gunners in the 79th minute before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang registered his name on the scoresheet for Arsenal too. Arsenal are now two points behind Chelsea. Can they catch up?
