Rumoured 2019 Presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar has hit out at what he calls ‘Fake News’. This is to a 40-second video that has been making the rounds online in which he declares his interest in running for President.
In the video, Atiku described himself as a poor boy from Jada, Adamawa State who firmly believes in the rule of law and who is a fighter for justice and equity.
In the video he allegedly said; “I am Atiku Abubakar, the poor boy from Jada, Adamawa state. I am a true democrat, a believer in the rule of law and a fighter for justice and equity.
“I believe in this country. If we work together under a focused and visionary leadership, we will make this country a stable and prosperous nation.
“I have the vision, the courage, the experience to lead this country. It is time to give back. I am ready to serve.
He has called this out saying it is fake news. He said this on Twitter using his handle.
