Baba Suwe to be flown overseas for further treatments

Veteran Nollywood actor, Baba Suwe is set to be taken out of the country to continue his medical treatments, according to one of his colleagues, Yomi Fabiyi.

He explained that Baba Suwe has been responding well to treatments since he was admitted in LUTH in February. However, he would need some other medical care which would be administered overseas.

Although Yomi still did not disclose the nature of the ailment nor the date he would be flown out, he reiterated that  Baba Suwe is now better than he was, does not need support to work, and if he strictly follows the routine of his medications, he would be completely healed.

Veteran Actor and Comedian Babatunde Omidina a.k.a Baba Suwe has been discharged from LUTH after intense medical treatment.

I can confirm to you that efforts to quickly stabilize and/or completely treat him to full wellness by medical experts at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) at the instance of Minister of Health are yielding positive results as Baba Suwe can now walk without the stick, less pain and he is getting better. If further therapy is administered and medications adhered to, he will come out completely of the major ailments. He will, however, proceed abroad very soon to further his treatment.

Baba Suwe personally with tears of joy rolling down from his eyes ask I thank Nigerians, his fans and the media community. While expressing his deepest gratitude, he stated seriously but with humor that “Nigerians have large hearts in spite of the economic situation in the country and can revive a dead man with their kindness and good hearts if the person is not buried”. He personally signed appreciation letters which are on their way to: i) Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria, ii) Rev. Mrs. Abimbola Esther Ajayi, iii) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, iv.) Rt. Hon.
