Some days ago, rumors that the veteran Nollywood comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Babasuwe, had given up the ghost in a hospital in the United States, was all over the internet.

While many feared it may be true due to his condition before he left the country, another comic actor, Mr. Latin, quickly put the rumors to the sword, emphasizing that his colleague was getting better in the hospital instead.

Now, Yomi Fabiyi has shared an update on Babasuwe’s health, stating that the actor can now walk well as seen in the video he captured.

In his update, he wrote: “LATEST:
Baba Suwe walking unaided in the hospital this morning in Rhode Island, United States of America (USA). He can now walk WITHOUT the support of a WALKING STICK. Hopefully, soon he will get better and gain accurate balance.
It has been your support and prayers. This is Nigerians working miracle and standing by on one of their own. This is humanity and Baba Suwe is continually grateful. This is who we are as Nigerians.
Bless every soul that helped.
– Yomi Fabiyi”.
