It was once believed that wisdom came with age, but if that saying is true, Solomon ought to have been the oldest man in the bible as he was acclaimed to have been the wisest. In this age and time where it has become difficult to have a public servant that despites his personal short comings and the flaws associated with the system, has shown that yes “the right things can still be done”, “development can still take place”, “ in most cases the rule of law can still be followed” ,one man has at least tried to set these records straight.

So it came with great surprise when we heard of the intending 50th birthday celebration of the Lagos State Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola.

As he celebrates his birthday today tons of well wishes have been pouring in, worth mentioning is the praise received from Mr President himself.

President Goodluck Jonathan congratulated Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola as he celebrates his 50th birthday.

According to a statement by Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, the President conveyed warm felicitations to Fashola and wished him more years of service.
