In tragic news, the baby Aisha Mustapha who was born with her heart outside her body has passed away.
The baby came into the spotlight due to the rarity of her case. She was born in Yobe and was going to be take care of by the government.
But unfortunately, she has now passed away.
The Special Adviser to Yobe State Governor on Media, Abdullah Bega announced the death posting, “With a deep sense of sadness, we received the news of the passing away of Baby Aisha Mustapha, born ten days ago with a severe medical condition affecting her heart. She was due to be taken to the University of Enugu Teaching Hospital’s Cardio-Thoracic Center today from the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) where she was hospitalised but she died in the early hours of today.
“His Excellency Governor Ibrahim Gaidam has sent his sympathies and condolences to Baby Aisha’s parents. He prays Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss. He also implores Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant them other offspring from His Grace.”
