The transfer deadline day has become something of a national holiday in the UK and other football loving parts of the world as there’s a genuine interest in seeing which teams buy who and who goes where.
The deadline day yesterday was no exception as there were surprises at some of the moves made.
One that had a lot of people surprised was the move of Jack Wilshere from Arsenal to Bournemouth. The midfielder has had a horrible time with injuries and it is true that the Arsenal midfield is currently really strong and competitive, but many are of the opinion that a fit Jack Wilshere could break into the team.
Another one was Balotelli to Nice. The Liverpool striker was never really popular and his off-field antics didn’t help as he entered into one problem after another. It was a huge fall from grace for a player who had always divided opinion but who most believed had talent. He will now showcase those talents with OGC Nice in France.
