Mario Balotelli was sent off seven minutes after coming off the bench in Brescia’s draw against Cagliari in Serie A.
The striker was shown a first yellow card for a rash challenge on Fabio Pisacane and minutes later was red-carded for a second bookable offence.
Balotelli will miss Friday’s game against AC Milan.
The Italian international had scored five goals since joining Brescia in the summer.
The former Manchester City striker has now received 13 red cards in his career. He has now been sent off in every of the last four season.
