Chelsea’s forward, Willian has gotten an offer from Spanish giants Barcelona FC according to reports.

The transfer offer from Barcelona is said to be worth about £60m following the rejection of the initial transfer deal of £50m.

The 29-year-old Chelsea attacker represented his country at the ongoing World Cup games made 55 appearances and scored 13 goals for Chelsea last season.

English club, Manchester United has been linked to making an offer to bid for Willian in recent times but nothing substantial has come out of the transfer rumor.

Barcelona wants to add an all-round striker to their squad before the commencement of the 2018-19 campaign when all clubs would fired up to compete against each other.

In recent times, Willian has not been getting along with Chelsea’s coach Antonio Conte who despite all speculations about his future remains the manager at the club.

The Brazilian player who shaded his club manager by blocking his face with a golden trophy on his instagram photo said;

‘Sometimes to stay on the bench is difficult but I respect the decision of the manager. ‘I don’t have anything more to say about my club because now I want to have focus here on the national team and the World Cup.’

According to reports, Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho is confident that he would land the Chelsea player.

Sometime last year, Barcelona had their fair share of Willian’s attacking tyranny when both club clashed at the Champions league as Willian troubled  Barcelona throughout the entire night shooting multiple attempts on goals and had two of those powerful shots hit the bar. At the second half Willian also came back with the same intensity and still tormented Barcelona’s defence.

In a recent news conference, Willian made a statement saying;

“People speculate a lot and we see a lot of things on the Internet but this is not the time to talk about this,”

“I’ve not received any information about whether [Barca’s interest] is true. I’m trying to focus on the national team at the moment.”
