Barcelona Confirm Date Of Neymar’s Grand Return From PSG

2 Min Read

The long-awaited return of Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain has finally come to an end for Barcelona as the Catalan club have a confirmed date for the arrival of their former winger.

Neymar had left the Camp Nou in the summer of 2017 for a world record fee worth 222 million euros and his departure from Spain was not taken well by several players and officials at Barca as they felt that the winger forcefully pushed the move through.

However, despite the bad blood that was formed between the club and Neymar when the Brazilian signed for Paris Saint-Germain, the void left behind was evident and since then the Blaugrana have failed to fill in Neymar’s role on the left-wing.

Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho were signed as probable replacements to cover up the left-flank, however, both the expensive signings have failed miserably and since then Barca has been on the run to sign the former Brazilian once again.

The big question still stands – will the PSG forward sign this summer for Barcelona?

According to the reports from Eldes marque,  the world’s most expensive player will not sign for Barca this season despite the player himself demanding the move desperately, however, the report claims that next summer would be the most feasible option for the Catalans to sign their former man.

The issue would be how would Barca lineup next season with Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite, Coutinho, and Lionel Messi? Not to forget that Lautaro Martinez might sign next season as well.

It seems like the summer of 2021 would be a busy transfer market for Barca as several signs would be made and several departures would be confirmed to make room for the star players. Who would you want Barca to sign in the summer of 2021 and who would you want to see leave the Camp Nou as well?
