Barcelona Poll reveals 2% of fans don’t want Messi in the team

Barcelona club president Sandro Rosell made a shocking revelation that the results of a poll conducted amongst fans revealed that 2% of the supporters do not want Lionel Messi in their team.

The current World Footballer of the Year joined the club in 2000 at the age of 13, since then Messi has scored 220 league goals in 248 matches, won six La Liga titles, three Champions League trophies and the Spanish Cup, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup twice each.

He is considered by many as one of the best players to ever play the game, but that seems to not be enough.

Rosell said: ‘In the club we do internal polling and there is two percent who do not like Messi. I would like to know these two percent.’

The President also revealed that Messi is Rosell also revealed that Messi is developing a strong relationship with new signing Neymar.

 

The Brazilian joined Barcelona for £48.6million this summer and the pair are already striking up an understanding on the pitch. Rosell added: ‘Messi and Neymar are coming along very well. When I see them in the locker room they are getting on fantastically well.’
