Bashir Ahmad Condemns Benue Killings, Labels Perpetrators “Terrorists and Enemies of Us All”

Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has strongly condemned the recent wave of mass killings in Benue State, describing the perpetrators as “terrorists” and “enemies of us all.”
Ahmad, who served under former President Muhammadu Buhari, made the statement on Sunday via his official handle on X (formerly Twitter), in reaction to reports that over 200 people were killed in separate attacks on the Yelewata and Daudu communities in Guma Local Government Area.

“What has been happening in Benue is condemnable and entirely unacceptable,” Ahmad wrote. “Those responsible for these atrocities are terrorists and enemies of us all. Nigeria will win.”
The deadly attacks, which have sparked outrage across the country, have once again brought Nigeria’s lingering security crisis to the fore, with renewed calls for urgent and decisive government intervention.
Ahmad joins a growing list of public figures demanding justice and accountability for the ongoing violence that continues to plague parts of Benue and other states in the Middle Belt region.
