Bayern Will Thrash Arsenal In Munich – Vidal

Ahead of the return leg of their UEFA Champions League Group F game on Wednesday, Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has warned Arsenal to prepare to face the “real” Bayern at the Allianz Arena.

The Chilean told Bild: “We will score from our chances this time, and keep the three points.”

The Bavarians had a decent outing at the Emirates in the first leg of the encounter on October 20, with Diego Costa, Vidal and other players perpetually keeping the Gunners under pressure but fell inexplicably behind.

This came just days before Eintracht Frankfurt, on Friday, managed to hold them to a 0-0 draw, which ended their 100 percent record in the Bundesliga.

Eintracht were able to get the draw, Vidal and Pep Guardiola said, because they resorted to what football fans call ‘packing the bus’.

“Frankfurt pulled all 11 men back to the edge of their own box. That makes it almost impossible for any team to score,” Vidal stated.

The 28-year-old said Bayern players have put the disappointment of the first leg behind them and will show Arsenal the stuff they are made of.

“On Wednesday, we’ll show Arsenal the real FC Bayern,” Vidal stressed. “Our confidence is high. We will score from our chances this time, and keep the three points.”
