BBOG Group Releases Names Of Chibok Bomb Blast Victims

The #BringBackOurGirlsGroup has released the list of the 14 persons that died and the 49 persons that sustained various degrees of injury in the bomb blast in Chibok on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

According to the statement signed by the spokesperson of the group, Sesugh Akume, “Our sources in Chibok have relayed the names and identities of all the victims including 14 deaths (plus one soldier of the Nigerian army, name not mentioned). Some died on the spot, others later; and 49 injured, some at critical stages.

“Two of the victims of the attacks are cousins of Aishatu Musa, one of our 219 missing Chibok girls. Both are daughters of Mutah Adamu Ntikawar. One died on the spot, the other is in a critical condition presently.”

The lists of those killed as released by the group are Peter Tusha (Kuburmbula), Hajara Mutah (Pemi),Mainta Fali Kulfa (Likama), Awa Wantha (Kwada Bila Girma), Athawa Kollo Yahi (Kwada Bila Girma),Yankye Wantha (Kwada Bila Girma)

Others are Garba Bulama (Likama), Hamman Dabal (Bamzir), Kuma Barka (Garu Line Mission), Ali Abana (Likama), Mallum Fali’ ka (Whuntaku), Kollo Sule (Bwalakila), Mohammed Sule (Bwalakila) and Ba. Galang Bulama (Whuntaku).

The 49 injured persons include Abdullahi Musa Birma (Likama), Ba Nkye Yaga Butu (Garu), Falmata Tella, Mohammed Ali, Bulama Zaman, Kuva Batah (Garu), Yaga A. Smai (Garu), Daniel Thumur (Likama), Jummai Kalau (Whuntaku).

Others are Mohammed M.C, Dauda Garba (Garu),Mohammed Bukar (Dambo’a), Jacob Fali’ka (Whuntaku), Habiba Usman (Kwada), Dauda Musa (Garu), Maji Dzakwa, Hauwa Dauda Ali (Garu), Zaki Wavi, Yana Mutah (Pemi), Ngiladar Fali (Whuntaku), Margret Moses, Alhaji Mohammed, Abba Abaji, Lydia Tella (Kautikari), Bukar Akawa, Kuma Woi, Dinnah Yakubu (Garu), Yunana Madu (Shikarkir), Ba Taru Abana (Garu), Zara Mustapha (Whuntaku), Pogu Kurdiya (Garu), Modu M. Kauji (Garu) and Dibal Dunya (Mifa), Alhaji K. The BBOG group, however, noted that “whereas others have sent in their condolences and recommitted to partnering to tackle the insurgency, there was yet to be any statement by the Nigerian government on this matter.
