It has been reported that Rihanna could be in legal trouble as the Boss of Megalectrics Chris Ubosi is suing the singer over a cancelled show I’m 2013.

TMZ reports that Chris had come to an agreement with two people who claimed to represent Rihanna and Roc Nation label boss Jay-Z.

They had agreed that Rihanna would come to Nigeria to perform for just over an hour and would be paid $425,000 for her trouble. According to Ubosi, he paid $160,000 with the expectation that things would go smoothly, but then was told allegedly by Rihanna that a postponement was necessary.

Ubosi agreed to this on the condition that Rihanna announce this on her social media page.

This never happened and Rihanna never came. Ubosi proceeded to cancel the show and ask for his money back, but has not gotten a cent.

Ubosi has now sued, but things are even murkier than that as TMZ reports that in fact Rihanna’s manager had no idea of the show and that Rihanna didn’t get any money which solidifies the idea that perhaps Ubosi was scammed by unscrupulous characters.
