A popular Bollywood actress, Pratyusha Banerjee, has reportedly committed suicide. The star was found in her apartment hanging and a suicide note was also found.

The popular soap-opera actress was reportedly reeling under depression. The exact cause of her suicide is yet to be revealed. Mumbai police have reached her home in Goregaon to begin investigation in the matter.
Her death has come as a huge blow for the Indian television fraternity. Pratyusha was known for her role in popular Colors show ‘Balika Vadhu’. She played the highly popular character of Anandi. Pratyusha has also worked for sensational reality show Bigg Boss. The 24-year-old actress has also been seen occasionally on Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India.
Bollywood Life also reports that Pratyusha had become ‘extremely depressed’ over her relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.
The website adds that the couple were planning to get married soon.
