The Senator for Bayelsa East in the 8th Senate, Ben Murray-Bruce on Thursday paid a condolence visit to Mrs Susan Kashamu, the widow of Senator Buruji Kashamu.
Recall that Kashamu, who represented Ogun East senatorial district at the same time that Murray-Bruce was in the Senate, died of COVID-19-related complications on Saturday in Lagos.
His remains were taken to his home town in Ijebu Igbo area of Ogun State, where he was buried on Sunday.
Murray-Bruce had broken the news of his friend’s demise on Twitter, expressing deep sadness at the unexpected loss.
The media entrepreneur visited his late friend’s home in Ijebu Igbo on Thursday to commiserate with the bereaved family.
He shared photos of the visit on Twitter.
