Benjamin Sesko Will Only Leave RB Leipzig for ‘A Special Club,’ Says Agent Amid Arsenal Links

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko will only consider leaving the Bundesliga side for a truly “special” opportunity, according to his agent Elvis Basanovic.
Sesko, 22, has been heavily linked with a summer move to Premier League side Arsenal. However, Basanovic has made it clear that any transfer will only happen if the conditions are exceptional.
“He will move from RB Leipzig only when we recognise a special club, a special project with a special coach,” Basanovic told GiveMeSport, cooling speculation that a deal with Arsenal is imminent.

Addressing reports that Sesko’s camp might pressure Leipzig into lowering their asking price, the agent dismissed any notion of forcing a move.
“Even if there may be – or will be – a strong desire of the player to move to a certain club, we will never force or blackmail RB Leipzig,” he said.
Basanovic emphasized that the manner in which a player exits a club is just as important as the move itself.
“I believe this is not the right way, because the way you actually exit from the club shows your values. Values that you are bringing into a new club,” he explained. “I believe in football world should be more respect. So that’s why we do things in the right way or we don’t do them. It’s very simple, even maybe in the media it looks very complicated.”
Sesko scored 14 Bundesliga goals last season and remains one of the most sought-after young forwards in Europe.
