US President Joe Biden fell as he was riding his bicycle near his Delaware beach home on Saturday morning.
The 79-year-old was riding in a state park when the incident occurred.
A video of the incident shows Biden appearing to get his foot trapped in the pedal before tumbling to the ground.
Biden was assisted off the floor by Secret Service agents and, as he rose, said, “I’m fine”.
A White House statement said that no medical attention was needed.
“As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family,” the statement read in part.
