Biden: “I’ve no idea why 48 percent of American voters think I’m not mentally fit”

President of the United States, Joe Biden has said he had no idea why 48 percent of Americans did not consider him mentally fit in a recent poll.

The US President, 79, stated this during a televised White House interview while responding to a reporter’s questions on the findings of  a Politico and Morning Consult poll which found that 48 per cent of Americans do not believe he is mentally fit for the presidency.

Newsmax White House reporter James Rosen asked, “I’d like to raise a delicate subject, but with utmost respect for your life accomplishments and the high office you hold.

“A poll released this morning by Politico Morning Consult found (48) per cent of registered voters disagreed with the statement Joe Biden is mentally fit.”

The reporter incorrectly said that 49, rather than 48, percent of registered voters disagreed.

The US President responded, “I’ll let you all make the judgment whether they’re correct” before going on to say, “I’ve no idea.”

Meanwhile, the poll also found that 37 per cent of Americans rated Biden’s performance as President so fas an an ‘F’, while over 50 per cent of respondents agreed with the statement ‘President Biden is a weak leader’.
