Anyone familiar with the Lil Wayne/Birdman beef knew that things were bad, but shooting up a tour bus bad? It is unlikely that anyone thought so.
New evidence unveiled about the infamous shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus in 2015 has placed the blame firmly at Birdman’s feet.
According to local Atlanta outlet WSB-TV, they reportedly obtained an audio recording of a phonecall between Birdman and the alleged shooter in the case, Jimmy “PeeWee Roscoe” Winfrey in which the rapper told the shooter to come and ‘get his money’
“It’s time for you to come out here and get your money, man . . . You done did everything you could do, boss,” Birdman is heard saying on the call. “It’s an eye-opener, bruh. Strictly business, man.”

According to Complex, while Peewee’s conviction was overturned in 2017 due to suspicion of coercion to obtain his plea deal, his problems, along with those of birdman and Young Thug are far from over as the driver of Lil Wayne’s tour bus has opted to sue all three men.
According to the driver, Winfrey, Thugger, and Birdman “conspired in the shooting,” and therefore caused him great “pain and suffering.”
Young Thug’s involvement in the Lil Wayne shooting was also quite surprising, but evidence points to the fact that the rapper made several calls to the alleged shooter before the incident was carried out.
According to the Police, Peewee pulled up beside Lil Wayne’s tour bus and “then opened fire with a .40 caliber handgun and a 9mm handgun.”
He was subsequently hit with a 10-year jail sentence which was overturned after allegations of coercion were uncovered.
