“Block all the 9million unregistered sim cards” – FG orders NCC

The Federal Government has given a directive to the Nigerian Communications Commission to block all unregistered sim cards after receiving a report of 9million unregistered sim cards in active use.

The Federal Ministry of Communication’s verified Twitter handle has confirmed this in a tweet, affirming that indeed, the Minister of Communications,  Dr Isa Pantanya has given the order that all unregistered sim cards be blocked until their users present themselves for registration. The Communications Minister said via a tweet on Thursday.
