The body of Allwell Orji, the medical doctor, who jumped into the lagoon from the Adekunle end of the third mainland bridge has been recovered.
The deceased had jumped off the third mainland bridge into the lagoon after telling his driver to park.
While his suicide came as a shock to many, reports had indicated that he had attempted to take his life many times in the past.
A body had initially been found as at yesterday, however the mother of the deceased confirmed that the body wasn’t her son’s, prompting the continued search for his body till it was recently discovered today.
Adesina Tiamiyu, general manager of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said the body was found around 4pm.
