Boko Haram: Buratai Issues Fresh Orders To Nigerian Soldiers

The Nigerian Army has intensified its efforts in ridding the country of the menace caused by the deadly Islamist-Jihadist group, Boko Haram.

As part of its plans to beef up security and rid the country of the terrorist group, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, has issued a new order to men of the Nigerian Army in the fight against the insurgents.

Buratai ordered men of the Nigerian Army to capture the factional leader of the terrorist group, Abubakar Shekau who was reportedly killed some months ago.

Buratai’s latest order to his men stated that the Boko Haram leader should be captured dead or alive within a 40 days period.

The fresh order is contained in a statement issued by the Army spokesperson, Sani Usman which revealed that Buratai gave the order to the Theatre Commander, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru yesterday July 21st.

The COAS, Buratai further ordered the theater commander to employ all arsenal at his disposal to fish out the terrorist leader within the stipulated period.
