Embattled Chief of Army Staff Tukur Buratai’s has vowed to crush terrorist group Boko Haram on land as well as on cyberspace.
The COAS was addressing newsmen yesterday stating that the terrorist group have now set their sights on the Internet as a way of spreading terror and recruiting members, but he vowed that the Army would follow them and destroy them there too.
He said, “We have already defeated the insurgents and the terrorists on the land. Now they have migrated to cyberspace. They have migrated to the internet and other print electronic media but I want to assure you that the terrorists and the Boko Haram members who have migrated to the cyberspace, we will follow them to that cyberspace and equally defeat them”
