CORONAVIRUS: UK P.M Boris Johnson Finally Discharged From The Hospital

British P.M, Boris Johnson has finally been released from the hospital after spending days in ICU due to the coronavirus.

He was discharged from St Thomas Hospital today April 11 after battling from the disease in the intensive care unit for three days.

“On the advice of his medical team, the P.M will not be immediately returning to work,

“He wishes to thank everybody at St Thomas’ for the brilliant care he has received.” Johnson’s office said on Sunday in an emailed statement.

Although he has been discharged, he will not resume his duty as P.M immediately. He will continue his recovery at his country retreat, Chequers.

“He has to take time,” his father, Stanley Johnson, told BBC Radio on Friday. “I cannot believe you can walk away from this and get straight back to Downing Street and pick up the reins without a period of readjustment.”
