US Officials have again witnessed the attempt of an immigrant to illegally gain access into the land.

Shocked officials uncovered a 38-year-old Brazilian man in the gas chamber of a 2001 model Toyota Sequoia SUV trying to gain his way into the country.

The man arrested on Tuesday at about 3:15am at the Calexico crossing, California was detected after an imaging device scanned and spotted anomalies in the SUV’s gas tank.

Following the discovery of the imaging device, officials searched the car thoroughly and ended up discovering the man hidden inside a partially modified gas tank, around the back seat of the vehicle.

It was discovered that the driver of the SUV, a 40-year-old U.S citizen had agreed to smuggle the Brazilian into the country to pay off his $5,000 debt.

He also has since been arrested and officials say he will be facing charges in connection with the foiled smuggling attempt.

The Brazilian man revealed he paid a total of $5,800 to get to the border from Brazil and was aimed at paying another $4,000 when he reached Los Angeles.
