Brazilian president backs Trump, alleges voter fraud in US
Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro has backed US President Donald Trump’s claims of voter fraud in the recent US presidential election.
He told reporters on Sunday he would therefore wait a while longer to recognise any winner in the polls.
The Brazilian president noted that it would be unwise for him to congratulate a winner until incumbent President Trump has exhausted his legal options in court.
Bolsonaro reiterated that there was voter fraud in the US election, but said he was unsure whether it was enough to sway the polls.
“It is one of those countries that is the ‘mother of democracy,’
“Now, the media does not report on this but I have my sources of information. It’s no use talking to you, they won’t disclose it, but there was a lot of fraud there,” he said.
