The adage, “the reward of a teacher is in heaven” may no longer apply to Nigerian teachers as President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a special salary scale for them.
According to THISDAY, Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu disclosed this while reading his speech at an event where he represented the president on Monday.
He further announced that the president has approved the elongation of service years of teachers from 35 to 40 years.
