Hon Igbana Denen, an aide to the Benue state governor, has been assassinated.
Unidentified gunmen assassinated the Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters to Benue state Governor Samuel Ortom, Hon Igbana Denen at the early hours of Friday.
According to information gathered, Denen was killed in his home at about 2:30am on Friday, May 20, 2016.
Details of his assassination still remain sketchy as we await confirmatory statement from the Office of the State Police Command.
