Kebbi state government has announced its first confirmed case of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu made the announcement in a televised broadcast.
The Governor disclosed the index case was a 40-year-old man who recently returned from Lagos state, Nigeria’s epicentre of COVID-19.
“Kebbi recorded 1st case of Corona Virus.
“In a briefing at Government House, Governor Bagudu disclosed a patient with travel history from Lagos has been tested by positive by NCDC. The patient is currently at Kebbi Isolation Center.”
