National and State House of Assembly Elections petition Tribunal has annulled the election victory of Senate Whip, Uzor Kalu. Uzor Kalu was representing the Abia North constituency of the state at the National Assembly, until the annulment.
The Tribunal has given an order for a re-run of election for the Abia North Senatorial District.
Orji Kalu is a member of the ruling All Progressive’s Congress(APC). Kalu was the Governor of Abia state for two terms consecutively, from 1999 to 2007.
